More and more global corporations open their Service Centers in Poland to deliver accounting, payroll or other services to their divisions in many other countries. The main ideas for such centers are based on the high quality of service and the low costs. Therefore, it is a common practice to employ highly qualified employees (language and professional competencies) for a salary that allows the center’s expenses to stay at a competitive level – so not very high. It is a challenge to provide adequate skills to the people who often don’t possess a wide job experience, and who are confronted with difficult tasks in a multi-cultural environment. In addition, it is essential to maintain a high motivation level in the work which to a high degree is routine and repetitive.
